About Us
The Digital Transformation Application and Research Centre was established as the final output of the Turkish-German University Digital Transformation Centre of Excellence project, which was supported by the Istanbul Development Agency within the scope of the Innovative Istanbul Financial Support Program. The Centre was founded with the aim of providing managerial and technical support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which reflect the dynamism of our national economy, throughout their digital transformation processes, and it commenced its operations as of February 2023.
The primary objective of TAU-DDUAM (Turkish-German University Digital Transformation Application and Research Centre) is to examine and research digital transformation at Turkish-German University from technological, economic, legal, and social perspectives; to identify problems arising from digital transformation in enterprises through an interdisciplinary approach; and to develop appropriate solutions to these challenges.
Within this framework, the activities of the Centre can be summarized as follows:
- Industry collaboration activities: Providing digital transformation solutions through joint projects with industry; offering paid or unpaid consultancy and expert services.
- Educational activities: Organizing various training programs and developing certification programs.
- Research activities: Conducting interdisciplinary scientific research, developing scientific projects, and establishing a digital transformation certification centre.
- Awareness-raising activities: Organizing meetings to increase public awareness of digital transformation.
